About Us
Friedens United Church of Christ was started by German imigrants in 1878. Our church’s name – Friedens is the German word for peace. Our small, friendly congregation consists of a variety of people – old and young, middle class and working class, liberals and conservatives, life-long Seward residents and people new to the Seward community.
